Goldsmiths unveils new store concept at White Rose

Goldsmiths, the luxury watch and jewellery retailer, has opened a new store at the White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds.

Featuring a new design for the retailer, the shop aims to give customers more of a lifestyle-led, relaxed shopping experience and will showcase a range of luxury timepieces from Longines, Rado, Tissot, Oris and Gucci, and jewellery from the likes of Roberto Coin, Kiki McDonough, Gucci and Jenny Packham. There will also be a dedicated area for TAG Heuer and Tudor watches.

The White Rose launch follows other recent openings for Goldsmiths in Leicester, Lincoln, Braehead, Brighton, Canterbury, and Reading.

The new “calming, yet dynamic” space was conceived in partnership with UK design collective Quadrant Design. The store features light open spaces in a monochrome palette of materials such as white-washed oak timber, white terrazzo and blackened steel.

Craig Bolton, executive director of the Watches of Switzerland Group, said: “This is a significant milestone for Goldsmiths. Luxury today has become far more relaxed, inclusive, and experiential, so while we are elevating the Goldsmiths brand position, our goal is to make everyone feel valued and at home when visiting our stores.

“Our ambition is for everyone to have a memorable luxury experience long after they’ve made their purchase. We believe the repositioning and new store concept will transform not just the Goldsmiths profile and experience but bring some fresh life to our high streets and we are delighted to launch in Leeds.”
