Gap Inc. launches new US loyalty scheme

Gap Inc. is launching a new loyalty programme in the US and Puerto Rico  for its Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic and Athleta brands.

It will replace the group’s previous BRIGHT Rewards scheme and enable customers to earn and redeem rewards that will be interchangeable across all four brands.

Similar to BRIGHT Rewards, customers will earn two points for every $1 spent on in-store and online purchases and will earn rewards in $5 increments towards a future purchase for every 500 points earned. In addition, customers will be able to access their rewards during checkout both online and in-store.

Until 31 October, customers will be able to earn an additional 250 points for signing up with any of the brands.

Anka Twum-Baah, head of loyalty & partnerships at Gap Inc., said: “We are very excited about the launch of the new branded expressions of our loyalty programme from Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta. We are launching ahead of the holiday shopping season as this will be the beginning of a series of programme enhancements designed to bring value to our customers.”
