Gant appoints new chief executive
Gant has promoted Patrik Söderström to the position of chief executive.
He will officially take over the role on 1 February following the departure of current chief executive Brian Grevy on 31 January.
Söderström joined Gant in 2016 as executive vice president of global markets and in his new role will continue to build value for customers and ensure future growth for Gant.
Thierry Guibert, Gant chairman, said: “Patrik has been a key player in the global management team and I am happy to appoint him as chief executive. His understanding of how to lead and navigate the commercial business and channel landscape in today’s rapidly changing retail environment, while having a strong understanding of the power of the brand has already proven invaluable for the growth at Gant.”
Prior to joining Gant, Söderström was managing director for north Europe at Luxottica and also spent eight years at Reebok.
