Footlocker to open Liverpool ONE store
Footlocker is to open a new store on Liverpool ONE’s South John Street.
The 21,000 square foot shop will be one of the brand’s largest in its worldwide portfolio of 2,500 stores.
To accommodate Footlocker, HMV has relocated to a new 13,000 square foot store on South John Street.
Alison Clegg, director of asset management at Grosvenor Europe, said: “Securing Footlocker is a reflection of our strategy of providing visitors with a highly compelling and relevant offer that is unavailable elsewhere. Along with the new HMV, the new stores will provide on-trend, exciting offers that further strengthen Liverpool ONE’s great mix of brands.”
Footlocker is the latest in a series of sportswear and footwear brands to select Liverpool ONE for significant stores, with JD and Superdry both opening in the fourth quarter of 2017.
