Footasylum lands in Milton Keynes
Sportswear retailer Footasylum has opened a new store at Centre:mk in Milton Keynes.
The 4,992 square foot shop is set across the ground floor at 66 Midsummer Arcade and is adjacent to Swarovski.
Established in 2005, Footasylum has over 40 high street stores across the UK.
Glen Dickinson, head of retail at Footasylum, said: “With a large catchment area and location in the heart of Milton Keynes, centre:mk was the perfect and obvious destination for our new store. Centre:mk benefits from an impressive footfall, as well as increased investment and regeneration in the centre which only adds to the experience further.”
The news follows the announcement of a £60 million investment programme for regeneration at Centre:mk over the next three years. The centre has also added to its line-up over the last 18 months including new signings from Kiehl’s, Molton Brown, The White Company and Pandora.
Ed Sellick, on behalf of Centre:mk’s joint owners Hermes Investment Management and AustralianSuper, said: “As a leading retailer for current sportswear fashion, we are thrilled to add Footasylum to the fantastic line-up at Centre:mk. Following a string of recent openings, this latest addition will enhance the strong retail and fashion offer ensuring we continue to cater for the wide and varied demographic of visitors, especially in this 50th Anniversary year for Milton Keynes as a destination.”
