Footasylum hails record year
Footasylum has reported a record year of growth following strong performances in its retail and wholesale channels.
In the year to 25 January, total revenue climbed by 9.4% to £349.5 million as store sales rose by 3% to £172 million and online sales reached £143.6 million after 6% growth.
Some of the best performing categories included womenswear where sales were up 18%. Exclusive brands also thrived, with a sales uplift of 101% through new and existing wholesale partnerships.
Meanwhile, operating profit rose by 123% to £23.3 million in the period as pre-tax profit climbed by 188% to £17.2 million.

During the year, Footasylum continued its store opening and upsizing programme, which included the launch of a 9.600 square foot store in Doncaster and its Merry Hill shop tripling in size to 10.700 square feet.
