Flannels to open first Scottish store
Luxury fashion retailer Flannels is to make its Scottish debut at Glasgow’s Silverburn shopping centre.
Due to launch this spring, the 756 square metre shop will be the brand’s first store in Scotland and will offer a range of luxury and premium designer clothing, footwear and accessories.
A spokesperson for Flannels said: “With constant footfall and a strong reputation, Silverburn is the perfect place for our debut site in Scotland. We are excited to share our collection of fantastic designer brands and continue our success across the UK.”
Founded in Cheshire in 1976, the retailer sells brands such as Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Moncler and Jimmy Choo as well as Stone Island, C.P. Company and Hugo Boss.
Never Miss a Retail Update! In addition to an online store, Flannels has 13 shops across the UK. Excluding Silverburn, the company is planning to open a further five UK stores including a London flagship.
Iain Mitchell, UK commercial director at Silverburn operator Hammerson, said: “This recent signing clearly reflects the increasing attraction for high-end brands, whilst firmly cementing Silverburn as the region’s number one retail and leisure destination. Flannels has created a benchmark for luxury retail by providing sought after designers and fantastic customer service in a stylish setting, and we are thrilled to launch them at Silverburn in Scotland.”
