FitPink chooses Belfast for first physical store
The FitPink athleisure brand has chosen Belfast’s Victoria Square for the opening of its first physical store.
Owned by German Commerz Real’s real estate fund Hausinvest, the 694,000 square foot retail and leisure destination is situated in the heart of the city.
The new store will open in September and will sell the brand’s range of waisted leggings, t-shirts, sports bras and hoodies. Spanning 1,354 square feet, the shop will be situated on the upper ground level of Ann Street Mall, close to Superdry.
Jenni Timony, founder and chief executive of FitPink, said: “Signing for our first permanent store is a great milestone for FitPink athleisure and there is no better place in which to be making our debut than Victoria Square. The centre has a great reach with our existing customers, while also providing a fantastic opportunity to introduce FitPink to even more people than is possible with just an online presence. This is a very exciting time and we cannot wait to open.”
Victoria Square has also recently announced that athleisure brand Gym+Coffee will be joining its line-up later this month. In addition, Belfast-born artist Terry Bradley has relocated into a new 1,500 square foot upsized gallery that is now open and trading.
Commenting on the signings, Russell Banham, UK head at Commerz Real, said: “Brands are capitalising on the strength of Belfast city and we are attracting new brands wanting to launch in Ireland. Victoria Square offers a great central location for such a launch as it is already home to an aspirational mix of stores. Both FitPink and Gym+Coffee are fantastic new entrants for us.”
