Footwear brand FitFlop has appointed Gordon Knox as chief operating officer.

Due to join the business on 13 September, he will be tasked with managing all operational activities and driving excellence.

Knox previously worked as business transformation, logistics and IT director at Superdry where he was responsible for the logistics strategy and global logistics budget, as well as multichannel operations, sample management and reverse logistics. He also led the retailer’s logistics robotic strategy.

His previous roles also include working as distribution director at Burberry and operations manager at Argos.

Gianni Georgiades, chief executive of FitFlop, said: “These are important times at FitFlop and I am delighted to have Gordon join the executive team. He brings with him a wealth of experience, that will help us to drive the operational excellence needed to support the acceleration of our ongoing growth strategy and build on the company’s existing success.”
