FitFlop appoints new chief technology officer
Footwear brand FitFlop has appointed Sal Usmani as chief technology officer.
In his new role, he will be responsible for ensuring that innovation, data and technology are at the centre of the business as it implements its growth plans.
With more than 20 years’ experience of managing multichannel business applications, Usmani was previously technology director at the Belstaff clothing brand where he managed a complete end-to-end business transformation and spearheaded numerous omnichannel projects to enhance the customer experience.
Prior to that, he was group head of IT at Conran.
