FatFace to launch family-friendly summer festival

Lifestyle fashion brand FatFace is to launch a family-friendly festival this summer in Newquay.

Called Rock Up and Sea, the event will be held on 17 June on the Cornish town’s Lusty Glaze Beach.

The brand said the festival goers will be able to dance to headliners playing on the main stage, hear tips from experts, and find out more about FatFace’s latest collections. There will also be a range of art installations and selfie-ready displays, as well as activities such as water sports, beach-themed crafts and “seaside fun” for children.

In a statement on Facebook, FatFace said: “Embrace the sights, sounds and special moments of summer at our fun-filled family festival! This June, join us for an unmissable day of incredible entertainment set amongst the scenic shores of Newquay’s Lusty Glaze Beach. From amazing music and inspiring guest speakers to exciting workshops, expert activities and more, make new memories at Rock Up and Sea.”

Last month, FatFace said it enjoyed strong Christmas trading when revenue increased by 34% year-on-year in the five weeks to 7 January.
