FatFace to expand into Canada
Lifestyle fashion retailer FatFace is to expand into Canada.
The company is planning to open six stores in the country from April 2023 to April 2024.
The first Canadian shop will launch in Ontario and will be followed by five further outlets.
FatFace already has a North American presence with 24 shops in the US. The country now accounts for £1 in every £10 spent with the brand.
FatFace chief executive Will Crumbie said: “This is a really exciting time for FatFace and an important milestone for the business. Over the last six years we’ve developed a successful business in the US with a brand that really resonates with the North American consumer.
“Customers love the brand story, premium quality products and the price point. The next stage of growth is replicating the model with careful thought through expansion into Canada.”
The brand may also consider opening stores in France, Germany, Spain and Italy in the future.
