Farfetch announces leadership team changes
Luxury retail group Farfetch has made three new additions within its leadership team.
Elizabeth von der Goltz has joined the business in the roles of chief fashion and merchandising officer and chief executive of Browns, and Sindhura Sarikonda will take up the position of president of Americas this month.
Meanwhile Stephanie Simon has begun heading up community and Web3 efforts for the Farfetch Group as vice president of community and Web3 after joining earlier this month.
Von der Goltz has extensive experience in the luxury sector after leading the buying and merchandising functions for Bergdorf Goodman, Yoox Net-a-Porter Group and, more recently, Matches Fashion.
Meanwhile Sarikonda’s background is in the technology and ecommerce sectors where she worked as general manager for Walmart US ecommerce, head of beauty for Jet.com global, and head of in-store at Klarna.
Simon has spent her career building brands and communities and was previously part of the founding team at Clubhouse where she led growth as head of community.
Farfetch has also announced that chief brand officer Holli Rogers and chief growth officer Martin Avetisyan will be stepping down from their roles to pursue other opportunities.
José Neves, founder, chairman and chief executive of Farfetch, said: “I am delighted to welcome Elizabeth, Sindhura and Stephanie to Farfetch.
“Our 2023 plan is very much focused on continuing to advance our platform vision whilst delivering growth, profitability and free cash flow. These hires will help us achieve that.
“On behalf of everyone at Farfetch, I would also like to pay a warm tribute to both Holli and Martin for the contributions they have made to farfetch’s growth over the years. I am very grateful for their leadership and expertise, and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.”
