End appoints chief buying and merchandising officer

End has appointed Lea Cranfield as chief buying and merchandising officer.

In her new position, Cranfield will be responsible for driving product strategy while reporting to the luxury fashion brand’s chief executive, Parker Gundersen.

She previously worked with Yoox-Net-A-Porter where she was chief buying and merchandising officer for Net-A-Porter, Mr Porter and The Outnet. This included managing a team of more than 270 people.

Her career has also included leadership roles at Matches Fashion, Liberty and Dover Street Market.

Gundersen said: “I am so pleased to have Lea joining the End team. Her expertise and relationships will play a key role in evolving our contemporary and luxury fashion offering as well as developing our growing womenswear portfolio.

“Her omnichannel retail knowledge will help tremendously as we scale globally. Most importantly, she’s a great leader committed to the development of her people. Lea’s credibility in the buying community is truly unmatched and her character and authenticity makes her the perfect fit for The End.”
