Dr. Martens hires global marketing director
Footwear brand Dr. Martens has appointed Mathieu Garcia as global marketing director.
Garcia has joined the company from Ralph Lauren Europe where he worked for 12 years, most recently as vice president of marketing. His experience also includes working with brands such as Salomon and Arnette.
In his new position, Garcia will be responsible for driving and enhancing Dr. Martens’ business value through a significant input into the strategy for the brand. Partnering with the vice president of product and marketing and the global product teams, he will drive the go-to-market plans for the launch of seasonal collections and will also oversee communication strategies whilst monitoring best practices across regions.
Garcia will report to Darren Campbell, Dr Martens’ global senior vice president of product and marketing,
