Destination XL promotes Stacey Jones to chief HR officer role

Destination XL Group has promoted Stacey Jones to the position of chief human resources officer.

Jones has worked with the group since 2003 in positions of increasing responsiblity. She currently oversees all aspects of the group’s people strategy and culture, including talent management and development, diversity and inclusion, compensation, benefits, compliance and employee engagement, as well as payroll and HR information systems.

Prior to her career at Destination XL, she held leadership roles in retail operations for Converse, Jet Apparel and T.A.C. Group.

Harvey Kanter, the group’s president and chief executive, said: “Stacey has been instrumental in building an engaged, inclusive, and high-performing culture at DXLG, having been a strategic partner helping to drive the business through our associate talent. Her well-rounded background in retail operations and multiple disciplines within HR makes her the ideal person to guide our human resources organisation and invaluable to our leadership team. She has strengthened our commitment to make DXLG an even better place to work.”
