Designer Brands appoints chief growth officer
Footwear retail group Designer Brands has appointed Bill Jordan as its chief growth officer.
Jordan previously worked as the company’s executive vice president and president, although he has held a variety of positions within the business during the last 14 years. These have included chief administrative officer, executive vice president and chief legal officer, and president of Town Shoes.
In his new position, he will work closely with Designer Brands’ management team to exploit growth opportunities.
Designer Brands has commenced a search for Jordan’s successor in his previous role. Meanwhile, the company’s chief executive Roger Rawlins will also serve as interim president until an appointment is made.
Rawlins said: “As DBI executes its growth initiatives to increase our market share, via differentiated products and differentiated shopping experiences, we believe Bill’s expertise is best utilised to help guide and grow our organisation as a whole.
