Deckers promotes Marco Ellerker to president of global marketplace
Deckers Brands has promoted Marco Ellerker to the newly created role of president of global marketplace.
Due to move to the position on 1 August, Ellerker has worked with Deckers since 2017 and is currently the company’s general manager of EMEA, Japan and distributors Asia Pacific. Prior to Deckers, he served in senior roles at Pentland Brands.
In his new position, he will oversee the omnichannel teams for all brands across the world and will become a member of the executive leadership team.
He will report directly to Stefano Caroti, the incoming chief executive and president of Deckers Brands.
Dave Powers, the current chief executive of the company, said: “Marco has played a key role in the incredible success our brands have achieved on a global scale. We are excited to have him in this role, and we are confident that he will build on our successful omnichannel strategy, together with our agile marketplace team, to continue to scale the success of our portfolio.”
Deckers’ portfolio of brands includes UGG, Koolaburra, HOKA, Teva, Sanuk and AHNU.
