Cudoni appoints chief commercial officer
Luxury resale platform Cudoni has appointed Michael Groffenberger as its first chief commercial officer.
A former head of retail and experts at The Real Real, he was also previously a speciality retail stores leadership team member at Amazon. His Linkedin profile reveals that his new role will see him deliver on Cudoni’s ambitious growth expectations in Europe and internationally.
Founded by James Harford-Tyrer in 2017, Cudoni has so far raised £7 million in venture capital from investors such as Saks Fifth Avenue former president Andrew Jennings and Charles Tyrwhitt founder Nicholas Wheeler.
According to the Business of Fashion, Cudoni plans to develop its watches and luxury jewellery category as it looks to differentiate itself in what it regards as a crowded market.
