Crocs completes acquisition of Heydude

Crocs has completed its acquisition of the Heydude casual footwear brand.

In a statement, Crocs said the acquisition has added a second high-growth, profitable brand to its portfolio and that it intends to grow the Heydude business which will benefit from Crocs’ global reach, marketing capabilities and infrastructure.

It also revealed that Heydude is expected to deliver revenues of approximately $700 to $750 million, including the period of time prior to the closing of the acquisition, and $620 to $670 million on a reported basis with consolidated financials beginning 17 February.

Founded in Italy in 2008, Heydude was acquired by Crocs for $2.5 billion.
