Clarks launches Modern Workshop concept

Clarks has launched its first immersive Modern Workshop concept at its Kingston store.

In addition to being given a contemporary new look, the store aims to showcase the footwear brand’s innovation and trademark craftsmanship.

Taking cues from the Clarks Originals’ store experiences, materials used throughout the shop hint at Clarks’ architectural heritage and sustainable vision for the future.  The store aims to offer customers a multi-faceted brand experience where they will have access to in-store activations, events and sustainable services such as repair and customisation.

Tara McRae, Clarks’ CMDO, said: “We are very excited to be opening this brand-new modern design concept for Clarks in Kingston, UK. We are really trying to pivot as a brand, translating our strong product stories into our physical store environments, giving consumers a more elevated shopping experience.

“It’s an exciting step in our approach for the brand with the world ahead in mind. This location will really enrich our customer journey. Stay tuned for much more in this space in 2023.”

The concept will be extended to Clarks’ Manchester and Newcastle stores in early 2023.
