Claire’s partners with Walgreens
Claire’s has embarked on a collaboration with Walgreens in the US as part of its strategy to extend its brand through global partnerships with leading retailers.
The move means its fashion accessories and products will be displayed in more than 4,400 Walgreens stores by the end of the month.
Products will include Claire’s best-selling jewellery, hair accessories and cosmetics, as well as a range of seasonal items.
Each participating Walgreens location will have a dedicated display for Claire’s.
Ryan Vero, chief executive of Claire’s, said: “As a one-stop destination for everyday needs, Walgreens services millions of people every day. Together we will extend Claire’s trend-driven shopping experience to new and existing customers, giving Walgreens shoppers more to love, fostering deeper connections and inspiring self-expression.”
Walgreens group vice president and general merchandise manager Dale Johnson added: “Walgreens is proud to offer a wide assortment of must haves for its customers. Whether they’re wanting to purchase a thoughtful and unique gift, or treat themselves, adding Claire’s fashion accessories ensures customers have access to a wider variety of options.”
The new relationship builds on Claire’s success with more than 40 other retailers, including Asda, Tesco, Macy’s, CVS, Kohl’s, Walmart, Amazon, Albertsons, DSW, Galleries Lafayette, Kroger, Matalan, Toy Center, Madeleine and Toys “R” Us.
