Chipotle Grill launches responsibly sourced branded fashion range
The Chipotle Mexican Grill is launching its own responsibly sourced fashion and accessories range.
Called Chipotle Goods, the line’s clothing items are made with organic cotton and include many unisex items such as t-shirts, sweatshirts and jeans jackets that have all been dyed using avocado pits from the company’s restaurants.
Chris Brandt, Chipotle chief marketing officer, said: “We know people are looking to celebrate their passion for Chipotle, and we set out to create a line of products with the same thoughtfulness, care, and attention to detail that we use in our kitchens. With Chipotle Goods, our fans can get quality items that support sustainable agriculture and represent our mission of cultivating a better world.”
To celebrate the launch, Chipotle will be teaming up with celebrity “superfans” on 5 August to host a special pop-up shop on the Depop resale site. Digital stars Avani Gregg, Natalie Mariduena, SpencerX and DevonOnDeck will be dropping customised Chipotle Goods on the site throughout the day.
