Charles Tyrwhitt unveils new store design at Centre:mk
Menswear brand Charles Tyrwhitt has unveiled its latest store design concept at its new shop at Centre:mk in Milton Keynes.
The brand said the opening will pave the way for a widespread roll out of the concept across its UK portfolio.
Spanning 1,455 square feet, the shop in the centre’s premium retail area, Silbury Arcade, showcases Charles Tyrwhitt’s full collection of menswear, including shirts, suits, casualwear, shoes and accessories. As trends in menswear have adapted post-pandemic, the store stocks a mix of both formal and casual designs and will also offer the brand’s popular one-to-one styling appointments and made-to-measure custom shirt services.
Joe Irons, chief marketing officer at Charles Tyrwhitt, said: “The Centre:mk opening is a major milestone for Charles Tyrwhitt, as we open our first new store since 2018 and welcome a debut retail format, allowing our customers to experience the brand in a new and improved way. For us, the destination of choice had to be Centre:mk due to its loyal visitors, as well as the brand’s ties to the city.”
Charles Tyrwhitt has joined a number of other premium retailers at Silbury Arcade, including the likes of Hawes & Curtis, The White Company and new luxury diamond, jewellery and watch concept, Loupe.
Kevin Duffy, Centre:mk’s centre director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Charles Tyrwhitt to Silbury Arcade as the debut location of the brand’s new store format, one which is a clear response to changing consumer demand and builds a closer connection with the brand’s audience. To be selected for the first in this new roll out is a proud moment for us and further strengthens Centre:mk’s position as a top 10 retail destination in UK.”
