Castore, the British premium sportswear brand, has opened  a new shop on London’s Brompton Road.

Founded by former professional athletes the Beahon brothers in 2015, the company has a range of high-profile brand sports partnerships and has also partnered with several top tier athletes, including  Castore investor Andy Murray.

Tom Beahon, co-founder of Castore, said: “Castore is very excited to expand our retail portfolio by opening a flagship store on the iconic Brompton Road.  We are confident that our new store will excel on The Knightsbridge Estate.”

The new shop will take its place sits on a revitalised Knightsbridge Estate, which has been modernised and enhanced over the last 12 years by owner The Olayan Group together with asset and development manager Chelsfield. This has included remodelling shop fronts, the widening of pavements and upgrading the retail mix to appeal to premium and luxury retailers.

In 2021, Burberry became the first tenant to occupy one of seven new flagship stores that form part of the northern end of the estate’s redevelopment.

Sarah Waller, Chelsfield’s senior asset manager for The Knightsbridge Estate, said: “In its early days, Castore hosted a pop-up on The Knightsbridge Estate. So It is thrilling to welcome back this successful brand to our thriving community. “
