Capri Holdings promotes Philippa Newman to chief brand and product officer
Luxury fashion group Capri Holdings has promoted Philippa Newman to the role of chief brand and product officer.
In her new role, she will continue to report to John Idol, chairman and chief executive of Capri Holdings and Michael Kors, while assuming responsibility for all product and marketing functions. Her focus will be on creating a cohesive and compelling brand experience, enhancing engagement across all consumer touchpoints.
Newman has worked with Michael Kors for over 16 years, most recently as chief product officer where she was credited with playing a pivotal role in driving product innovation and shaping the brand’s strategy for growth.
