Capri Holdings appoints Bacardi chief executive to board
Capri Holdings, the owner Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors and Versace, has appointed Bacardi chief executive Mahesh Madhavan to its board of directors.
From 30 March, Madhavan will also join the company’s compensation and talent committee as well as the governance, nominating and corporate social responsibility committee.
Madhavan has worked with the spirits company for more than 25 years.
Prior to becoming chief executive of the business in 2017, he held a range of leadership roles in various regions. These included regional president of Europe, regional president of Africa, the Middle East, South & Southeast Asia, managing director of India, South & Southeast Asia, and managing director of Thailand and the Philippines.
