Canada Goose to open first store in Germany
Performance luxury apparel brand Canada Goose is to open its first store in Germany this autumn.
The shop in the heart of Berlin’s shopping district will be the luxury brand’s fourth in Europe following openings in London, Milan and Paris.
Dani Reiss, president and chief executive of Canada Goose, said: “Germany has played an important role in the story of Canada Goose. This brand was built in Europe through our exposition at so many of the country’s incredible trade shows over our early years and we’re so happy to return now with our first German store.”
Situated on one of the city’s most historic avenues, the shop spans two floors and will be the first Canada Goose store to feature a “biodimensional” installation – a unique wall space combining lighting and elements of the environment to bring the outdoors inside. It also includes balcony area where customers can try on the brand’s parkas and cold weather items in the open air.
Art by Shuvinai Ashoona and Patrick Thompson will be featured throughout the store. In addition, Shannon Bool will be creating a sculptural piece made of Canada Goose’s Snow Mantra parkas.
