Canada Goose acquires knitwear manufacturer Paola Confectii
Canada Goose has acquired the operating assets of Paola Confectii Manufacturing.
The purchase of the Romanian company means that Canada Goose now has a manufacturing facility in Europe to add to its existing network of seven facilities across Canada.
The move also supports the company’s growth plan which aims to expand existing categories and increase year-round relevance.
Paola Confectii has been a trusted partner in manufacturing luxury knitwear for Canada Goose since its launch in 2017. In a statement, Canada Goose said knitwear is one of the leading segments in its growing apparel category, which exceeded $70 million in annual sales in its 2023 financial year.
Meanwhile, Canada Goose’s core down-filled products will continue to be made in Canada,
