CAMILLA Collaborates with WICKED for an Enchanting Fashion Collection

Fashion designer Camilla Franks has unveiled an exclusive collaboration with Universal Pictures, drawing inspiration from the much-anticipated cinematic release of WICKED this holiday season.

The result is a captivating collection of wearable art that merges the world of WICKED with the luxurious realm of CAMILLA, bringing together two iconic brands in a dazzling showcase of creativity.

The WICKED x CAMILLA collection, launching globally on 13th November 2024, features 85 unique styles for women, men, and children, along with an array of accessories. From silk dresses and gowns to printed shirts, shorts, and tees, each piece embodies the magic of the Land of Oz, enhanced with CAMILLA’s signature bespoke graphic prints.

“We were granted unprecedented access to the WICKED archives,” shared Camilla Franks. “It’s a visual feast that tells a story of friendship, empowerment, and loyalty – themes that resonate strongly with me.”

Three striking prints form the heart of this collection:

  • Defy Gravity: Inspired by Elphaba’s journey to the Emerald City, this green and gold print incorporates quotes from the film, alongside Elphaba’s iconic hat, CAMILLA’s leopard prints, and feathers. The collection includes pieces like a long bias slip dress with a train, wide-legged pants, and a tailored blazer.
  • Totally OZmopolitan: Drawing inspiration from the glamorous Glinda, this pink-themed print features motifs of bubbles, butterflies, and tarot cards. Standout pieces include an organic cotton poplin ruffled wrap top, a curved collar blouse, and a mini skirt with 3D embroidery.
  • Munchkinland: A whimsical blend of Glinda and Elphaba’s friendship, this blue-sky print features rainbows and tulip fields across styles such as a short V-neck kaftan, tiered dress, and oversized tee.

Stephanie Kraus, Executive Vice President of Global Product Design at Universal Products & Experiences, praised the collection, stating, “It’s thrillifying to see the magnificent world of WICKED come to life through Camilla’s incredible prints. This collection features stunning attention to detail with fun Easter eggs from the film for fans to discover.”

WICKED, which is set to be one of the defining cinematic events of the year, stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande as Elphaba and Glinda, respectively, charting the untold story of the witches of Oz.

The WICKED x CAMILLA collection will be available for purchase from 13th November 2024, offering fashion enthusiasts and WICKED fans an opportunity to embrace the magic and artistry of this collaboration.
