Burberry hires Rod Manley as chief marketing officer
Luxury brand Burberry has appointed Rod Manley as chief marketing officer.
Due to take up his position next month, Manley will join Burberry from Calvin Klein in New York, where he was executive vice president for influence marketing and communications. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Giorgio Armani and also worked at creative services and media relations firm KCD.
At Burberry he will lead all marketing, communications and creative media teams from London whilst reporting to Burberry chief executive Marco Gobbetti.
Commenting on the appointment, Gobbetti said: “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Rod Manley as chief marketing officer. Rod’s experience and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen the Burberry brand and position the business for growth.”
