Burberry appoints new vice president of corporate responsibility
5 July, 2022 | by Angela Beevers
Burberry has appointed Caroline Laurie as vice president of corporate responsibility.
Having joined the business in June, she will be responsible for integrating the luxury brand’s sustainability incentives, targets and KPIs.
Laurie was previously director of responsible business and sustainability at B&Q owner Kingfisher where she worked in various roles for 17 years. Prior to that, she was a buyer at Asda.
In January, Burberry announced that it had refinanced its revolving credit facility to a £300 million sustainability linked loan. This is linked to the achievement of key ESG targets as part of the company’s ambition to become climate positive by 2040.
