Boux Avenue hires Rachel Harley as merchandising director

Lingerie retailer Boux Avenue has named Rachel Harley as its new merchandising director.

She will join the business on 13 June from Marks & Spencer where she has been working as head of merchandising for the lingerie, swim, sleepwear, hosiery and active categories.

Having spent 15 years at Marks & Spencer, Harley began her career at Topshop following her graduation.

Boux Avenue owner and chairman Theo Paphitis said: “Rachel completes the new look Boux Avenue management team and with her specific expertise will ensure that the Boux Avenue brand is driven forward and reaches the next level through fresh ideas, products and energy.  We welcome her to the business.”

Harley will report to Boux Avenue chief executive Michael Kerr who joined the company in October last year.

Kerr said: “Rachel’s complete knowledge of the UK lingerie marketplace will be an asset to the brand. These skills combined with Rachel’s strength of leadership will ensure she will be able to add significant value to Boux Avenue from day one.”
