Bottega Veneta appoints new CEO of the Americas
Kering’s Bottega Veneta has appointed Alejandra Rositto as its new chief executive of the Americas.
She has succeeded Gerrit Ruetzel at the luxury fashion brand.
Rositto previously worked with Fendi after joining the business in 2016 in the role of president of east coast US retail, but was subsequently promoted to the position of vice president of US retail and retail corporate functions in the Americas.
Earlier in her career, she spent over 12 years with Louis Vuitton where her most recent role was director of Maison Fifth Avenue in New York. She also worked with the business as client development and digital manager for South Europe, the Middle East and India.
Commenting on Rositto’s appointment, Bottega Veneta chief executive Bartolomeo Rongone told WWD that her extensive luxury and retail experience will help accelerate Bottega Veneta’s growth in the Americas.
Rositto will be part of the label’s executive committee and will report directly to Rongone.
