Boohoo names Pierre Cuilleret as non-executive director
Online fashion retailer Boohoo has appointed The Phone House founder Pierre Cuilleret as a non-executive director.
He will also sit on the company’s audit, remuneration and nomination committees.
In 1996 Cuilleret founded The Phone House which was subsequently acquired by Carphone Warehouse. From 2005 to 2014, he was chief executive of Micromania, the number one video game retailer in France, where he oversaw its growth and acquisition by Gamestop Group.
In parallel to his chief executive duties, in July 2011 Cuilleret was appointed as an independent non-executive director of Spanish food retailer Distribuidora Internacional de Alimentacion where he served on the board until 2016.
Cuilleret is currently an independent non-executive director on the board of Barcelona-based fashion retailer Desigual.
