Boohoo hires Shaun McCabe as non-executive director

Online fashion retailer Boohoo has appointed Shaun McCabe to to its board as an independent non-executive director.

He will also become chair of the audit committee and sit on the remuneration and nomination committees.

McCabe is currently working as chief financial officer of Trainline and is also a non-executive director of online electricals retailer AO World. Prior to this, he was international director at online fashion retailer ASOS and is also a former chief financial officer of Amazon Europe.

Mahmud Kamani, Boohoo group executive chairman, said: ” On behalf of the board I am delighted to welcome Shaun to the group. His deep knowledge and experience of ecommerce and retail will be a great asset to the board. As a group we are committed to implementing our agenda for change that will help us on our journey to lead the fashion ecommerce market globally, and look forward to providing further regular updates on our progress in due course.”
