Boohoo acquires stake in Revolution Beauty

Boohoo has announced that it has acquired a 7.1% stake in Revolution Beauty as a strategic investment.

In a statement, the online fashion retail group said the move builds on its existing relationship with the brand under which Revolution Beauty products are sold through several of Boohoo’s direct-to-consumer brand websites and its online digital department store, Debenhams.

Boohoo added: “The investment reflects Boohoo’s belief in the growth potential of Revolution Beauty and it intends to be a supportive stakeholder and long-term partner.”

In May, Revolution Beauty said the US had become its biggest single market in terms of store sales, while retail in the UK and the rest of the world had bounced back to pre-pandemic levels.

Boohoo’s portfolio of brands also includes Boohoo, Boohoo Man, Nasty Gal, Pretty Little Thing, Coast, Karen Millen, Miss Pap, Oasis, Burton Menswear, Wallis and Dorothy Perkins.
