Boardriders names new president of EMEA region
Quiksilver owner Boardriders has appointed Nicholas Foulet as the president of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Foulet joined the business 20 years ago and since then has held a variety of roles including global chief information officer and head of ecommerce and digital marketing.
In his new position, he will be responsible for operations and the brand portfolio in the EMEA region. He will succeed Greg Healy who is now moving to oversee the Asia region after previously combining responsibility for EMEA with APAC.
Foulet said: “I’m delighted to be taking over as head of the EMEA region at a key moment in Boardriders’ history. Over the past few years, the group has built up a unique strength in the action sports and outdoor market by bringing together iconic brands without compromising their authenticity.
“Our mission today is to bring the full potential of our brands to life in the European market, in a dynamic environment in which our boardsports and outdoors activities are highly popular. Our objective is also to accelerate the evolution of our model in the light of current transitions: digital, operational and environmental.”
In addition to Quiksilver, the company owns the Billabong, Roxy, DC Shoes, RVCA, Element and Vanzipper brands. Its EMEA headquarters are based in Saint-Jean-de-Luz in France.
