Barbour to make city debut at Victoria Leeds
Barbour is to open its first standalone store in Leeds in the city’s Victoria Quarter.
Spanning 2,679 square feet across two floors, the Victoria Leeds shop will also be the first Barbour store outside of London to feature the lifestyle clothing brand’s new ‘heritage’ design concept.
The store will be situated at Victoria Quarter’s 9-11 King Edward Street and will stock Barbour’s menswear and womenswear collections.
The new addition will complement the premium destination’s cluster of leading British brands including Vivienne Westwood, Mulberry, Boodles and Penhaligons.
The news follows the recent announcement that contemporary demi-fine jewellery brand, Missoma is to open a second UK store this summer at Victoria Leeds.
Rachel Bradburn, leasing director at Victoria Leeds, said: “Victoria Leeds has always been a home for leading British and independent brands but since Redical’s new ownership, we’ve seen a significant shift.
“Our impressive performance so far this year, coupled with the arrival of prestigious brands like Barbour with their newest concept store, exemplifies this momentum.”
