Balabala enters the metaverse through creation of digital brand ambassador

Childrenswear brand Balabala is entering the metaverse by creating a hyper-realistic digital brand ambassador named ‘Rainy’.

The Chinese company said the move will enhance its multichannel strategy by creating a new communication window with the Z-generation.

In further news, Balabala has announced that it has been working with former Dior and Chloe creative director Christine Phung and independent designer Veeco Zhao on its latest product collection.

The new designs aim to merge a European culture with Chinese design concepts.

In a statement, Balabala said: “Balabala continues to drive its ambition of providing its global customers with diversified, high-quality products in a vibrant, exciting shopping environment, encouraging children around the world to have a wonderful childhood and aiming to become the first-choice children’s fashion brand.”
