Astrid & Miyu to launch three new London stores
Jewellery brand Astrid & Miyu is launching three new London stores as part of its ongoing expansion plans.
Following the opening of a shop in London’s Notting Hill earlier this year, the company is taking stores on King’s Road, Foubert’s Place and at Coal Drops Yard in time for the festive season to add to its existing nine-strong portfolio.
Featuring similar Scandinavian and Japanese-inspired designs to Astrid & Miyu’s other shops, the latest stores will offer the brand’s gold vermeil and solid gold jewellery, as well as services such as piercing, tattooing and bracelet welding.
Astrid & Miyu retail director Sharon Solis said: “It is incredible to see how much Astrid & Miyu has grown during just my first year here. Our expansion allows us to reach more of our customers, from London and beyond, and we are excited to have some incredible neighbouring brands that cater to a similar consumer base to us. As with our Notting Hill store that launched in the spring, we will be providing our much-loved piercing services in wonderfully designed studios as well as our popular tattooing and bracelet welding.”
The company said the new London launches reflect its commitment to bricks-and-mortar retail and follow a successful three years for the business in which turnover has grown by 400%.
Last month, Astrid & Miyu founder Connie Nam was named one of The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2021. In addition, the brand has attracted a number of celebrity fans including the likes of Jessica Alba, Holly Willoughby and Laura Whitmore.
Commenting on the new openings, Nam said: “We’re so excited to be opening this trinity of stores in London, the city where Astrid & Miyu first began almost a decade ago, and to welcome existing and new customers over the festive period.
“Our expansion plans are well underway and the speed at which we’ve been able to increase our store footprint following the pandemic is down to bolstering our senior leadership team which, in turn, has resulted in many exciting progression opportunities for our fantastic team as we grow both in terms of people and physical presence.”
The store opening dates are follows:
King’s Road – 18 November
Foubert’s Place – 25 November
Coal Drops Yard – 2 December
