Astrid & Miyu recognised for growth and innovation
Contemporary jewellery brand Astrid & Miyu has been placed ninth in the latest Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 listing.
The company was recognised for its commitment to innovation, investment in its community and focus on customer demand.
Founded in 2012 by chief executive Connie Nam, the brand is now a £10 million turnover business that employs around 80 staff. It currently operates four stores in London and concessions in Manchester and London in Selfridges department stores. In addition, its retail network has been complemented by pop-up shops in the UK and New York.
Astrid & Miyu is particularly popular with young millennials and has a celebrity following that includes the likes of Ella Woodward of Deliciously Ella, This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby, and Tiffany Watson of Made in Chelsea.
In addition to the Fast Track 100 listing, the company has also recently seen Lam win the Athena award at the 2020 NatWest Everywoman Awards and be highly commended in this year’s Barclays’ Entrepreneur Awards.
Nam said: “I am so pleased that all our hard work has been recognised on the national stage. Every member of the team puts 100% into the business every single day and it is fantastic to have that passion translate into such prestigious awards. It is a team effort to make Astrid & Miyu what it is and I am thankful to everyone who has contributed to this incredible success.”
