Astrid & Miyu leads trio of openings in London’s Soho
Shaftesbury Capital has announced that Astrid & Miyu’s new flagship store in London’s Foubert’s Place has led a trio of new openings in Soho.
The street is now also home to cult eyewear brand Jimmy Fairly while Carnaby Street has seen the launch of a new shop by Barbour.
Astrid & Miyu’s new site represents a significant upsize for the jewellery brand within the area. Operating as House of Astrid & Miyu, it aims to offer the brand’s most immersive shopping experience to date with a strong focus on the customer experience. The relocation has also created more space for in-store services including ear-piercing, tattooing, engraving, and welding.
Sharon Solis, director of retail at Astrid & Miyu, explained: “Foubert’s Place was always a dream destination for our retail expansion, with a huge heartwarming response when we first opened our smaller unit a few years ago, and we’ve enjoyed being here so much that when the opportunity came to us to upsize on the same street, we jumped at it.
“The growth we have achieved in the past few years has been so rewarding, and that’s what made our new House of Astrid & Miyu London flagship possible. It also means we can continue to serve the Soho and Carnaby Street customers that have contributed to that growth, with an even better experience and array of services than before.”
Also a relocation to a new Soho store, the new Barbour shop at 29 Carnaby Street offers the brand’s distinctive array of clothing and accessories.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Fairly’s store showcases the brand’s signature glasses and sunglasses, and also offers eye tests using state-of-the-art equipment.
