Asos Marketplace and Collusion launch first product collaboration
Asos Marketplace, the online platform for vintage sellers and independent boutiques, has launched its first collaboration with an Asos in-house label.
The second most searched-for brand on Asos.com, Collusion has seen independent boutiques Dream But Do Not Sleep, The Marcon Court Project and Groovy Gal rework samples donated by Asos into a capsule collection of one-off pieces.
Comprising 60 products, the collection offers a way of turning samples which cannot be sold to Asos customers into new individual pieces that reflect the unique style of each boutique.
Each boutique will receive 100% of profits from sales and is benefiting from support from Collusion experts on marketing strategies, including partnering with influencers and content creators, to help promote the range.
Launched in 2010, Asos Marketplace hosts over 1,300 international small brands.
Jo Hunt, head of Asos Marketplace said: “Our much loved Asos Marketplace boutiques are the perfect partners to help reimagine these products into fresh, unique new pieces that will resonate with our customers. The focus of Asos Marketplace has always been to champion and support talent across the fashion industry, and this new collection perfectly showcases the talent and creativity of the boutiques on our platform.”
