Ashley Centre enhances tenant mix with two new retailers
Epsom’s Ashley Centre has welcomed ProCook to its line-up and signed Oliver Bonas for a new store.
Founded 28 years ago, kitchenware brand ProCook has launched a 2,124 square foot shop adjacent to Next as part of its ongoing UK expansion.
Andy Kerr, retail director at ProCook, said: “Our Ashley Centre store opening marks the significant halfway point for ProCook’s retail estate growth plans this year and we’re delighted to solidify our brand presence in this key part of the Home Counties.”
Meanwhile, Oliver Bonas will be opening a 2,390 square foot store to showcase its full range of fashion, homeware, jewellery, furniture and gifting items. Designed by the brand’s specialist team, the shop will be situated close to Next and the centre’s anchor store, M&S.
Oliver Tress, founder at Oliver Bonas, said: “We are pleased to announce that the Ashley Centre will be joining our portfolio of stores as we continue to grow our physical presence across the UK. This area is a key location, and one with a large catchment area for us to tap into and provides us with more opportunity to build our customer base in Surrey.”
The announcement follows news that Primark is to open a 44,000 square foot store adjacent to the centre’s central square, which is currently undergoing a £7 million refurbishment. Due to launch later in 2025, the shop is expected to create 100 jobs.
Louisa Butters, head of retail asset management UK at CBRE IM, said: “A key element of our strategy is to continue building the Ashley Centre’s aspirational brand mix. Complementing the centre’s extensive refurbishment, which is due to complete in the coming weeks, these retailers advance the centre’s position as a destination for prime retail and adds something new to the visitor experience.”
