Arket to open first physical location in Spain
Arket, the Nordic fashion and lifestyle brand, is to expand into Spain with the opening of a flagship store in Barcelona this autumn.
The H&M-owned business offers a modern-day market concept that includes fashion and homewares.
H&M said the Barcelona store will be a lifestyle destination that combines a selection of ready-to-wear items and accessories for women and men, as well as childrenswear, body care, and interior products.
Pernilla Wohlfahrt, managing director at Arket, said: “We are very excited to announce the opening of our first Arket store in Barcelona. It will be one of our most important events of the year, and we look forward to meeting our customers and the local creative community.”
In May, Arket opened its first store in Latvia in the country’s capital, Riga.
