Arc’teryx launches new store concept in London
Arc’teryx Equipment, the Canadian technical high-performance apparel and equipment retailer, is continuing to expand its retail store network with the launch of new London shop for its Arc’type collection.
The Arc’type store in Covent Garden’s Long Acre has been created in a micro concept and is the first of its kind for the brand in Europe. Spanning 137.5 square metres, the shop is Arc’teryx’s second in the capital following a previous opening of an Arc’teryx branded store at Piccadilly Circus.
Sven Radtke, general manager EMEA at Arc’teryx, said: “London is the perfect location for Europe’s first Arc’type store thanks to the city’s strong outdoor culture and pioneering design and fashion scene.
“The smaller store concept carries a selection of the essential, tried and tested products Arc’teryx continues to be celebrated for. This shopping experience offers the most versatile products for all types of outdoor experiences and allows guests to see what items define Arc’teryx.”
The brand will celebrate the shop launch with grand opening celebrations on 4 and 5 September. Events will include DJ and beatbox performances, giveaways and more.
Arc’teryx’s products are distributed through more than 3,000 retail locations worldwide, including over 120 branded stores
