Arcadia names new Topshop Topman creative director
Arcadia Group has named David Hagglund as its new creative director for Topshop Topman.
He will take up his new position in September when new Topshop Topman chief executive Paul Price joins the business. Price was previously chief merchandising officer at Burberry.
Hagglund runs his own creative agency in Stockholm where clients have included Hugo Boss and H&M. Prior to that, he was managing director at Storakers McCann and has also been art director at Vogue Paris.
Previously the Topshop and Topman creative director roles were overseen separately by Kate Phelan and Gordon Richardson who are leaving Arcadia later this year.
Arcadia group owner and chairman Sir Philip Green said: “The appointment of David Hagglund in the newly appointed role continues to mark the start of a new era for Topshop Topman in moving both brands forward in their ongoing global expansion.”
