Anine Bing chooses Mayfair for first UK store

US fashion brand Anine Bing is to open a first UK store in Grosvenor Street in London’s Mayfair.

The company has taken a ten year lease on a site previously occupied by Starbucks, which spans 1,337 square feet over the ground floor and basement. Situated at corner of Grosvenor Street and Avery Row, the shop is close to the area’s new Crossrail station and brands such as Smythson, Phillip Plein, Breitling, Jigsaw, Agent Provocateur, Apostrophe and Mulberry.

Anine Bing’s clothing is sold in more than 300 boutiques around the world and in the brand’s eight flagship stores in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid and Berlin.

Oliver Green, director in the Central London retail team at Savills, said: “We are delighted to have secured this deal with Annie Bing for its first store in the UK. The aspirational luxury brand’s decision on location underlines the depth of demand from fashion retailers for space just off the prime pitch of Bond Street.”
