American Eagle Outfitters appoints Deb Henretta to its board
American Eagle Outfitters has appointed Deb Henretta as an independent director.
The move means that the company’s board now comprises eight directors, including three women.
The company said it would benefit from Henretta’s track record of building iconic consumer brands following her 30-year career with Procter & Gamble, where her most recent role was group president of global ecommerce and president of global beauty care.
Jay Schottenstein, executive chairman of the board and chief executive of American Eagle Outfitters, said: “Deb’s passion for innovation and transforming the customer experience is perfectly aligned with our strategic vision as we continue to grow our leading brands worldwide. Her wealth of consumer brand experience will add tremendous value to the team, and we look forward to benefiting from her insights.”
